Tommy helped us find a new house that met our needs perfectly. He also sold our current house at a very good price. Our old house had minimal square footage and was very comparable with several other houses within the market. We bought our new house with the mindset of having to pay two mortgages for a while, but Tommy sold our house the night after we moved into our new house. Tommy did a terrific job marketing our house, we had over 20 showings. He also recommended a very affordable handy man to make repairs on the home following the inspection. He was always available, and even met with us late at night.
Tommy was very easy to work with. He was very flexible with his schedule to accommodate us whenever we would like to look at houses. He always submitted our requests to sellers for information in a timely fashion. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help find a good fit for a mortgage loan, someone to do necessary repairs, shop around for home inspection and pest inspection, among other things. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tommy and appreciate his friendly, easygoing style.
We met Tommy in an unconventional way, as he was the listing agent of a house we looked at. At that time, we did not have an agent, as many of the agents we met were quite pushy, made us feel rushed/pressured, or just lacked the real estate knowledge that we wanted in an agent. Prior to meeting Tommy, I was already VERY impressed with the marketing he had done on the house he listed. The listing was complete with detailed descriptions, lots of great pictures, an actual video walk through of the house, and a map of the floor plan (my favorite part while looking at houses online, as it gave me a real feel of the house). When we met to look at the house, Tommy gave us the Cliff Notes details of the house, and then allowed us to walk around on our own, without an ounce of pressure. He was there to answer any questions (and we had lots), and had a book on site filled with tons more information. He knew his listing inside and out! That house did not turn out to be the house for us (to be honest, we went into it knowing that it probably wasn't going to be, but his marketing made me NEED to see it before I checked it off the list), but at that point, we knew that Tommy was going to be our agent in our search to buy a house. During the buying process, Tommy was there for us while we looked at quite a few different houses. He LISTENED to what we wanted, and took A LOT of time in each house. One thing I appreciated was his attention to detail when looking at each house, and pointing out things, both good and bad, that we had not previously noticed. When our first offer fell through due to major repairs found in the inspection report (thankfully, we used Tommy's recommendations on inspectors), he was ready to jump right back on the bandwagon, and start the house search again, with the same gusto as the first time around. Thankfully, we found the perfect house, and Tommy helped to make the days leading up to the closing smooth and painless. He didn't desert us after the offer was accepted, but instead kept us very much in the loop of what was going on in the process. I couldn't be more impressed with his abilities as both a sellers agent (as we saw when we met him as the listing agent), and as a buyers agent (as we saw firsthand). I'm not one that ever writes online reviews, but our experience was so great with Tommy, that I wanted to give all the props I could. If you are looking for an agent (as either the seller or buyer), I don't think you can go wrong with Tommy. We really appreciate everything he did for us throughout the entire process!
